VICTORY IS SURE IN YEAR 2008
I have prayed for you. The Lord laid upon my heart to tell you the following:- You will overcome (John 16:33)
Tribulations and trials may come in year 2008, but they are nothing to be afraid of at all. He said, you should be of good cheer because they are already taken care of. - The trials and afflictions may be many; He will deliver you out of every one of them (Psalm 34:19).
Problems, challenges and trials differentiate the men from the boys, the women from the firls, and the brave from the cowardly.
Nehemiah encouraged his people:"And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the the nobles, and to the rulers and to the rest of the people; Be not ye afraid of them:rember the Lord, which is great and terrible; and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses" Nehemiah 4:14
When they obeyed him, they got victory and completed the entire project in only 52 days. (Nehemiah 6:15) - Faith is needed to secure this victory in year 2008 (I John 5:4)
The question is, has anybody or any group of people ever enjoyed victory? Yes!
In Exod. 5:1, 2, Pharaoh vowed he would not let Israel go out of bondage. In answer to prayers (Exod. 12:29-33), God fought for Israel and they got victory, deliverance and Pharaoh and his people died in the Red Sea eventually.
Again, in Esther 3:8-15, Haman planned to kill the Jews because of Mordecai. Evil counsellors counselled him to build gallows where Mordecai would be hung.
In Esther 7:1-10, fell and he was hung on the same gallows where Mordecai was to be killed (Esther 7:10) Of course, the Jews had victory and joy."The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy and honour. And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good dayl And may of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them." Esther 8:16, 17.
GOODNEWS:
In year 2008, the promise of God in Isaiah 41: 11, 12 shall be your experience in Jesus' name.
"Behold, all they that were incensed against thess shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
Thou shalt seek them, and shall not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought".
God bless you.
